Lainey Brooks

Lainey Brooks

Laine has a broad background in the built environment. Architecture, Urban Planning and HVAC Engineering are all part of his 20 plus years of experience. Each was done with a tilt towards energy. With this background, a fuller and more robust picture of how energy is used can be established. The silos are torn down and everything is on the table. Working in different fields has also provided a different perspective. It enhanced the ability to see what works and what needs innovation in each field. Too many times, professionals working in specific industries rely on what they have always done. That does not work anymore. The pace of change in the built environment, especially the energy sector, is speeding up and ‘business as usual’ just is not good enough. Understanding new technologies and design theories from different fields, and how they can be used in combination, provides greater flexibility to the built environment. Let Laine help guide your facility to energy independence.
